Hi! My name is Maria Cruz and I currently reside in Portland, Oregon but I moved here from Phoenix, Arizona back in June 2025, so I am a newbie and am completely falling in love with the magic of Portland.
I love hiking, performing arts, storytelling, collaboration, coordination, ideas, community, culture, events, reading, crocheting, crafts of all kinds, hand made art, handmade gifts, sushi, the lake, trees, running and so much more.
Most importantly, I strive to work in areas I love. I am so thankful to have grown a skillset to thrive and succeed in theater arts and event management/coordination.
Since I’m new to Portland, I left my wonderful theatre community in Arizona, but I am so excited to start getting into events and the theatre arts community local to me in Portland.
I can’t wait to be a part of the arts community here in Portland!
When I’m not working at PNCA or the VMC or Moda Center, you can find me running with Latinas Running Across Portland or on a hike, or exploring something cool and weird in Portland with my boyfriend and his dog Bubba.
